Oil companies make about $0.20 per gallon profit from California gas.

California government gets about $0.71 per gallon profit from high gas taxes.

California's restrictive regulations also make gas even more expensive.

If Newsom was smart and honest, he could say something like "We need high gas taxes to save the environment and to fund our clean energy goals." Instead of that, he is blaming the oil companies for his bad gas policies.

First time looking in for several weeks and it is a ghost town but for basically DFM talking to himself with zero new posts for several days now. 

 

Belief being the keyword. I take extra care to separate what I believe from what I know (can prove) substantively. And, if my beliefs are proven wrong in the future I am open to that awareness and change. I don't see why so many people of faith feel the HAVE TO BE RIGHT
