Staying logged in forever means thst you don't need to enter your credentials every visit, you are automatically accepted.
You'll only show as being logged in when you actually show up and/or refresh the page.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, then next visit, stop at the log in screen and look for the question beside or below the log in button. It defaults to just "the session" so that you have to log in every visit so you must choose to stay logged in forever right there. It is so much easier!
I don't know why Boardhost occasionally boots the log in, but it only happens 1 or maybe 2x a year to me. I've never had any trouble logging back in again though.
I choose forever. It lasts until it doesn't.
