Once again I see that Kenniboi is doing Mongo's bidding for him.

He's kicked off Scalise for offending his dear buddy.

Isn't it odd that only lefties who offend Mongo get kicked off anymore?

What Scalise said that triggered the ancient buffoon wasn't nearly as bad as mongo's replies in the same thread or his typical hate-filled rants. mongo constantly tells other posters there to "scram" as if he has the authority to do that.

Scalise was supposed to be out for around 2 months, but he immediately returned as John Capone. So I'm not feeling any sympathy for him in this, but it sure is obvious who really calls the shots there and how grossly one-sided Ken's moderation is.

Scalise is no prize, I totally agree. But he tends to be Liberal, and he riles up Mongo - those are his only saving graces in my book.

Will be interesting to see if he tries to get back on using a proxy.

Mike IS a terrible poster, but so are mongo and cheap sheets shaman, amongst others.

I read the "attacks on Arwen". He did not suggest nor say that she should die. SHE suggested that he did. Both she and mongo ran away with it as if he did say that.

Yes, banish Scalise. He DID sneak back in right away with his new name so deserves booting. But SO DO mongo and cheap seats. But they won't be banished because mongo rules the roost there!

Yeah, that he seems incapable of recognizing himself in his complaints is astounding!

He doesn't attack the females he LIKES, but he says horrible lies about me. He belittles Trish, and he suggests that Christopher is some weak flower like a woman. So THAT isn't misogynist as well as incredibly rude and false?

He used to say horrific things about Santothi (sp?), Poppet (in the past), Me, that Australian gal (forgot her name), the South African wife of Cap'n Slappy, Trudy, and more. But he drove most of them away so what is left are his think alike women.

He IS a vulgar misogynist too! The things he says about female leftist politicians is horrible Plus! He judges the value of women strictly based on their looks first and foremost! Plus he is a hateful, nasty poster overall! He constantly uses vulgarity but criticized others for it. Sometime within his criticism.

It is mind boggling that he CANNOT see the irony in his complaints and criticism!

I detest pig-piles. It's one thing if multiple people post opposing viewpoints that address claims made. Another thing entirely when most or all responses are predominantly insults piled up on top of each other.

Some are certainly mongo, but definitely not all of them.

For me, it's easy to recognize mongo sock puppets. He simply cannot shed his typical markers. His ego always shines through as does his personal hatred. The target(s) and/or triggers of individual sock puppets reveal far more than their "real selves" realize. Most people cannot shed themselves when pretending to be someone else. Their writing styles, usual phrases, usual targets, topics that trigger them, and egos always shine through.

Same for most.

The only poster who was incredibly capable of disguising himself was Dain Ironfoot. That is because, in addition to new names, he constructed entire personalities to go along with them. He successfully created Beef,,,, and Jeffersonne, both LW oriented. Beef,,,, was vulgar and highly aggressive against RWers and Jeffersonne was meek but solidly LW. He created ATexan who was a nasty RWer and a ton of characters with literary backgrounds, like his online persona, Dain.

He did it to fill out a board with multiple, diverse characters when there weren't many participants, NOT to use to "attack enemies". Sometimes he even got into heavy & heated discussions with his own sockpuppets.

Until we ran a board together as opposite viewpoints on "CrossRoads" on TBQ forum platform, I'd never seen anyone so talented at creating sock puppets. I caught him using the same IPs and then he admitted it.

Mongo is NOT that talented. His purpose is to attack "enemies" and make his board seem more popular. So he is very obvious.

Many of the sockpuppets on Ken's boards are him, but many are from the RCC board under their own names or as their own sockpuppets.

Mike Scalese is the most prolific.

The board is utter chaos. A pity; at one time (when I posted as habeas) I thought it might be possible to wrench it around and make it go in the other direction.

Mongo sabotaged that; Ken supported him, and blamed me. I walked. Forever goodbye.

When we used to post on that old BBS system, it would always display the IP address of every post. That helped stop imposters and sock poppet user.

On this board system there is no EASY way for all the users to see the IP address of a post. There is a HARD way. I added a special guest admin link for all of you to use. You need to carefully follow the instructions.

In the past I gave a similar link to a couple trusted friends. Now I decided to trust everyone with this link. This will only let you see the IP addresses, you will NOT be able to do anything else.

Of course Mongo's sockpuppet's posts will show only the proxy addresses: but Kenni knows I post from the same address all the time, and have opposed (for privacy reasons) posting people's IPs. So since I would nominally have been allowed back on the board, he's trying to prevent me from posting.

It truly is a difficult and obnoxious method to find out what IP someone is using but it is also the only way he can find out too.

Most likely, a number of posters asked him for IPs of sock puppets, which he doesn't have time for, so this is his solution.

I rather doubt it has anything to do with you specifically, but yes, it would reveal your static IP if you decided to return there.

Most probably don't know your regular IP so wouldn't be able to attach posts to you even if they saw the IP unless you posted under greenman AND a sock puppet.

It appears that most of the sock puppets are the same critter who goes by gTg, Spector, Fred, Fudd, Sam, Mo, and so on...

What surprised me was the consistency of the IPs of the majority of the newer posters from another board, excepting the aforementioned prolific troll. That indicates that they are quite unlikely to be who you usually think they are, but individuals from the RCC board.

If sock puppets and imposters are a real concern, it would be easier for Ken to just go to registration to eliminate it. Especially because this is actually a huge invasion of privacy that I 'spect many non-trolls will be annoyed by. The biggest troll (see above) will definitely oppose it since it exposes their duplicity.
