I  kinda figured it was HH too, but the top one SEEMED to be by Pikes given Pikes response to SES's comment.

When he said he was banned, I pretty much figured that Ken MUST have mistakenly chosen his IP instead of the one he intended.

One thing though, it is NOT always HH who posts something that people blame him for.  Sometimes it might be Mike Scalese (or one of his multiple aliases) OR a complete stranger who simply doesn't like whomever (s)he is dissing.

HH has specific favorite targets and a specific style  that is not always on display when he's blamed.  It is important to pay close attention to WHO is attacked (all of the attacks at any given time) and what is said to each of them.

It's too bad that HH seems to be unable to restrain himself from going after people in extremely rude and unacceptable ways.  That's because he IS a very smart guy and has lots of knowledge and interesting views to offer.  However, that inability to control his temper or desire to humiliate those he dislikes (including Poppet - one of his favorite targets) makes it impossible to allow him to join Blue.  I wish that he didn't always do that, but history shows that even if he restrains himself for a little while, sooner or later, he won't.

SES is basically just like HH in how he relentlessly dislikes some peeps and goes after them... only he IS able to restrain himself just enough to get away with it when he doesn't.  SES also doesn't get vulgar, which makes a big difference too.

Exactly. HH is (with the very occasional exception) basically an attack bot in (somewhat) human form, but his style is pretty easy to discern. And yes, he does tend to focus on a handful of specific targets, people he's irrationally hated for many years. Sometimes a new nick will come along that largely focuses on attacking other posters and it can initially seem like HH, but the differences quickly emerge.

i don't read and react like normal people. i read and react before noticing who wrote the post and later find out i was reacting to someone who had an NPR or whatever against me and then apologize. two months is a long time and i was not able to respond to the issues you mention in the Middle East. i doubt anyone would have been convinced by what i said but i hope you will be convinced by what i posted about Life after death. It is VERY REAL as i have posted nearly 30 YEARS. atheism is a dynosaur. it is doomed.

Add GOG and Mongo (although the latter insist he’s in ‘voluntary self exile’ or whatever) and doses of HH to the existing mess, and you have a recipe for disaster..

It’s all you can do, I know. You are of course not the root problem..

As I predicted, the re-emergence of dual nuisances jb and GOG hasn’t exactly made things better.

I suppose we should be grateful for small favors in that Mongo hasn’t slimed his way into the board yet.  Of course so many have DNRs with him he’s prevented from addressing half the board directly…

Of course, as in my case, she simply doesn’t like disagreement, and like some others, hides behind DNRs.

You have a wonderful way with words. In jb's case, his fixation produces a mental and emotional disturbance that appears in keystroke errors. It is worse now than before, as is his blame of others for his time out exile. I suspect he is not long for R&E and will quickly repeat a forced retreat into another time out. Do you think he is dangerous?

I don't. It's just an impression gained over the years, but I don't think his mental health issues are such that they lead towards violence. I'd be no more on my guard around him that I usually am (with the caveat that I'm perhaps a wee bit paranoid in general...). The only poster whose online behavior would lead me to be in "high alert" mode is...well...I think we all know who that is.

I do think jb's obsessive preoccupation with his cult and NDE-related stuff has become worse and worse over the years, descending into outright fixation. Or a really good imitation thereof and he's just an elaborate, long-running troll project. I've never been entirely able to  decide, although I'm largely inclined to believe he's mostly what he seems.

Greenman, one thing I did in the past was start a different thread discussing the TOPIC from your perspective. 

Also, IMO the DNR is not going away. It serves a purpose when posters stalk each other especially
