In a DNRd board, many folks literally cannot even address a post by someone who has manipulated the system against them.

The superiority of registration is obvious.

That thread basically became an instant cesspit (and I feel sorry for Christopher, who started it). The post to which CE0802's nasty reply was made was one in which "Okie Dokie" called him a liar. Which was itself a response to people of opposite opinions being "lazy and stupid."  *sigh*

How is "IP spoofing" possible?

Your first link describes a VPN.  A VPN has an IP address.   If someone posts from a VPN, the VPN address will show up in their posts.

How is it possible for someone to post using an IP address of another poster? 

 

Greenman has never denied posting something he posted. He can get ornery about it, insisting it was acceptable or deserved, but I've NEVER seen him lie about it. He is certain that it wasn't him, especially since he wasn't online when certain posts landed, but was asleep.

I believe him because, while he can sometimes be difficult, I've never known him to be a LIAR.

I have the same observation. He isn't "that" difficult either.
