 I'll admit that's who I thought it was at first. Only for a bit, since HH's style never really varies and doesn't quite match up, but I still got a laugh out of my initial instinct (and I'll stop poking fun at some of y'all for assuming every bad actor is Mondo...).

If I had to guess:

Woodbine = Devo
Thrinxy = Query
Mark = Sum

..but I’m not certain.  There’s no Grand Unification Theory of posters yet..

Well, that's not a surprise that Query/Woodbine/Mark/Sum/Thrinxy (whichever or all of which he might be) turned into a nasty poster.  It's always been an undercurrent in his posts.
 

I’d be sad if it’s Woodbine; we used to talk about football and Manchester, I thought better of him than that.

Even Thrinaxodon was OK sometimes, when it wasn’t an ultra-personal issue.

Well, unless he SAID he is HH, I wouldn't be SO SURE that it is HH.  Obviously, I didn't see what transpired but I didn't think that Query posted like HH. 

That IP connects to Texas but is an anonymous proxy.

We have had visits by Mark from Brisbane, Australia and someone with a completely anonymous IP who spent significant time checking our board.  Also a proxy locating itself in Germany.  Woodbine uses a proxy most of the time.  HH visited using his usual IP location. Why would he change it to post and change back to visit since the anonymous proxy would work just as well?

For what it is worth, I'm fairly certain that Thrinxy is Woodbine, as is Devo, as is Islar as is Query. 

I'm quite sure that Mark was Sum. 

Woodbine could be quite personable when he wanted to be, but certain traits of his fit ALL of the characters that I believe that he plays.  He is the epitome of Query and Query behaves EXACTLY like Woodbine did.  EXACTLY.

Yes, KR does exactly that.  Most of his posts involve an attack on whomever he responds to.  Some worse than others and usually unprovoked.  So why would HE be allowed to repeatedly post GFY to those he dislikes, usually without cause, but no one else can ever post that when provoked?

Devo may be on topic, but he IS a troll who delights in aggravating other posters. His initial questions usually involve religion but every single thread devolves into B.S. sooner or later.  He goads people on and some always oblige.

I have avoided this for two reasons. Maybe three.

One, I hate DNRs.

Two, I kinda enjoy jousting and poking back and forth with him. We both engage, there’s a flash of rapiers (OK, that’s a bit pretentious) and somebody backs off, and we both move on. Before COVID, I rather enjoyed it. That DID annoy me.

Three, I COULD DNR him,but that wouldn’t stop him from infesting the board.  He’d still piddle in every thread, even if I had a DNR..and he’d violate it anyway and I’d be complaining to Ken, and..

Well, you see the problem.

I think that’s pretty rare.

And his piddling on EVERY thread is a far worse problem. Well, to ME.  Maybe not to the board Mods.

Over the years, the board attracted tvrds and swarms of pesky flies who follow them. 
When a "fly" sees post of a "tvrd," he mvst bite. Can't resist the chance to bite. 
We would have them too, and the same situation, but registration appears to have
effectively ended that.

I will be honest, I am thinking of talking to Ken about simply stopping. Most of us have ways to talk to each other without this BS. I have to sit with it for a while because I'm angry.

Heat of a moment, passion, argument, frustration is a poor time for a decision. 
Deserves at least a sleep. 
Representatitive board meetings require three meetings to move a policy.
First is a hearing.
Second is discussion.
Third is vote or action.
