Poppet, all of Blue's moderators are listed as ADMIN too.  But there can be only ONE admin for every board.  For some reason, Boardhost restricts boards to only one.  I suppose that there could be a "general admin" that all mods have access to, but Boardhost is quite ticklish about that too.  It allows only ONE email to be used for an admin.  That's why the rest of you aren't admins but I put ADMIN for all of your descriptions on the message board, but CANNOT put it on here because they are automatically assigned.

This cracks me up!  He's probably doing something stupid that's causing it  OR failing to fill in the numbers that come up to stop spam-bots

 I just spent twenty minutes in a replay to greenie. A big POST. A lot of work. Up came a “invalid post”. Then it was trashed. What’s up? Two in a row.  
 

Invalid submission is often no name or subject. But who knows with him?  He could have done as you suggested and never actually posted it.

Apparently, his IP isn't static so it fluctuates and allows him to post here and there when his IP isn't blocked, but stops him when the IP is the one that Ken C blocked.  THAT'S why he can and then can't post and some of his posts come up as "invalid posts".

Apparently, Ken C released the banned IP today.

It should be noted that the post that got his IP banned was to me, screaming that my post was a DNR VIOLATION when it wasn't.  What he did was post that as his subject AND his posting handle.  I recall posting to it that Ken C frowns on "anonymous posters causing trouble".  I wasn't sure WHO it was, but figured either GOG or busybody mongo.  Apparently, it was GOG.
 

That pig SES flung the LIAR word at me multiple times yesterday regarding my OPINION on this.  It has since been removed but I'm SO DONE with that AH.  It was just one of several times he did that yesterday.

It’s continued today with me.  I’m afraid I started the whole thing by quoting (not IN quotes, unfortunately) from an article elsewhere that referred to it as a ‘pro-lynching song.’ 

Sprout has particularly pissed me off by lying and pretending that somehow. somewhere I suggested that ‘lynching’ and ‘vigilantism’ (a word I had not even used) were synonymous.  I did not, and do not think that. I never even implied it, but repeatedly explained my usage and the circumstances.

He and SES are simply LIARS, and finally I told them so.  I won’t be lied about this way. Disagreement is one thing, but the Nitpicker Twins don’t care - they just pick at people for their entertainment and especially those they see as ‘liberals’ (‘own the libs,’ you know).  You, me, Sia, Merlin, and so forth.

Human offal, both of them.

Easy. “They” should be re-termed to “some”. Mistreatment is from a personality type. And not ubiquitous. The slave cost $bucks. I don’t mistreat my rotortiller. It might be worthwhile to let the folks over on R&E know that even if the moderators there were inclined to allow racist posts to stand, there's not really an option. Boardhost's Terms of Service include a list of prohibited content. Racism is literally the first item listed.

Ken & Grasshopper posted a thread addressing GOG's racist posts.  Based on his history, he won't stop.  He is clever enough to find a way with language to start in again using 'disguised' language. He will become more aggressive and direct as time goes on.  Ken doesn't have the time to monitor the board as it needs to be - and it needs to be babysat since there are so many problem posters there.

It goes on too much and too often, along with other crap that constantly goes on.  There is no use in my objecting either.  Been there, done that - jb appears to be temporarily gone but there are others to take his place. Name changes but the story remains the same. Trash posting. The guilty really need to be banned for good, but that won't happen. They'll find ways around IP bans with proxy servers and so on.

I have no idea why they want to drive the board down but its obvious they do.

Ken's board and his decision.  I get that.  But I am tired of all the crap.  I've quietly packed my bags and left.  No one will notice anyway as most on that board prefer to fight and I don't go to any message board to fight.  I have enough of that crap going on with my health insurance carrier.  I don't need more garbage.

You don't need to apologize.  It's obvious that the regulars who trash post on Ken's board are adults.  That adults need to be babysat is beyond ridiculous. That adults need to be told that certain behaviors are not acceptable is also ridiculous.  

Bottom line is that they are responsible for their own behaviors.  It reflects back on them, though they seem to be impervious to that simple fact.

I am generally not one for censorship but that board has been pulled down and its not worth the time to wade through the trash to get to anything of content that might be posted.
