This will be a broad-band reply for all your questions.
When I first turned to Wicca, the head honcho for books was Llewellyn. And I didn't need an agent EVER with them. So that's where the manuscript for Victorian Grimoire landed, with a very speedy response (shocked me). There are (and were) still some small companies where you don't have to have an agent.
Now, eventually I did get one, which is how I got into Harper Collins, Simon and Schuster, and Penguin. I kept in touch with editors and managed to swing some contracts on my own. 
Eventually I left my agent as she kept keeping me in a small box. I wanted to do mainstream, and I got a gig with the Everything Book line for a Canning and Preserving book, followed by a barbecue book.
Before heavy internet access, I simply ordered a ton of research books that I felt were useful in different ways. I have several of them still.

Well you get the idea. 
I was the lead moderator for a team of 5 for all of the MSNBCi boards. For ghost writing I have an NDE, perfectly standard. 
I have a profile on UpWork where you bid on projects. I get .06 per word which is on the high end for everyday stuff. So, writers will never be wealthy (giggle).
Hubby is doing his PT and hopefully getting some changes in his meds. Will be seeing him tomorrow.

Mongo is a LIAR because his board is an hour BEHIND ours using CT.  We use EST.  You posted at 9:59am and HE posted at what would be OUR 10:11am, (his 9:11am).  So he posted it AFTER you posted your spoiler.

Does that mean that he copied you?  Well, no, it's not PROOF, but it sure as hell is suspicious and highly LIKELY that he used your spoiler to play his game since he OBVIOUSLY peeked in AND LIED about what time he posted it.  It's right there for anyone to see for themselves that he posted it AFTER YOU.

He's already proven that he doesn't really know how to play given his accusation that I somehow cheated for playing according to completely normal standards.

You don't seem to understand that they post hundreds of more times about me than I post about them. The quantitative imbalance should be your first clue that they are and have always been the prime instigators.

You might think you have acted in my behalf, but I don't think you have the courage to stand up to them and tell them to stop and to delete Crack Alley. It wouldn't work anyway. greenman would curse you out just like he has done to Poppet and others over the decades. They can't stop. Sia is a very sick, bitter woman, and greenman feeds her sickness by acting in the demonic role of an Iago. They thrive on hate.

So, no point in preaching to the choir over here. Two months ago, I deleted every post here that mentioned any of them, and the abuse continued over there steadily. How do you explain that? You can't.

There's no way you can excuse greenman's outrageous behavior. Nobody is "taunting" him ... he is banned everywhere, and nobody talks to him except a very few on blue. Poppet pushed him away recently. She is the only one on blue who asserts her independence ... everyone else is dominated by Sia.

Not just about myself or Sia this time, the COM has decided to attack others on R & E (just as GOG was doing with Ken’s ‘Universe’ board today, I noticed - lack of sympathy for his crazy notions about Mars and the Moon).

The two biggest problems on R&E are of course Mongo and GOG and their spamming, trolling, and personal attacks on others (notably Merlin).  But as masters of projection, of course they see it as everyone else’s fault, especially Sia’s (and to a lesser extent mine) who is to them the sinister ‘Deep State’ behind all their supposed board ‘problems.’

Such is mental illness.  I urge them both to seek help for their obsessive hatred and misbehavior on Boardhost.  I’ve certainly never been subjected to online behavior like theirs, even on the most contentious political boards I’ve ever posted on.  I’ve never been stalked and harassed like that elsewhere.

It’s shocking too how many supposedly religious posters on these boards go along with Mongo’s politics and behavior.  Like they do Trump’s, you could say..another similarity between those two.
