Dark energy

Is hasn't been all that long since the electromagnetic field was joined with the weak nuclear force into the unified electroweak force.  Both have repulsive characteristics, the weak nuclear force being responsible for radiation (i.e. repulsive, being responsible for ejection of high energy particles from the nucleus of certain atoms) and the electrical field repulsing 'like' charges.  The point is that both fields are/can be repulsive in nature.  I'm wondering if dark (or vacuum) energy can somehow be unified with the electroweak field (or for that matter the strong nuclear force with gravity since both are attractive in nature and perhaps be mediated by gravitons)?

Re: Dark energy

I wish I had even a clue about this topic.  Alas, I do not.  I also didn't even notice that it had been posted until just this very moment.  UGH.

Maybe post it on the simple board too?  It might get a lot more notice there ??
