Has anyone seen the new show SONGLAND ??
I'm not sure if I like it or not.
The premise is for multiple amateur songwriters to write their own song to pitch it to famous singers, who vary week to week. Then, those with promise are coached by 3 famous music writers to make their songs better, and then one is chosen by the superstar singer to release.
It's produced by Adam Levine, I believe. So far, it's both fun and boring. Each one is too short of a performance and the show skips around a lot. But it's also fun to see the end results.

Hey, do you watch "The Voice" ?? If you do, you might want to join my private discussion group on Facebook where we all watch the show together and add our opinions on singers & songs on Mon & Tues PM during the season it's on... There's about 30 of us from all over the country who watch. Mostly East Coast EST peeps.
