The ravings of this madman aren’t new to any of us, but the tolerance of him is certainly puzzling.  He still spews disinformation freely, like a sewage nozzle, on both the Yellow and White.

If only I’d know what those boards wanted in the way of material, I wouldn’t have gotten angry with this and other loonies, I’d have JOINED them.  Only critics get banned, in the wacky world of Boardhost (looking at you too, DFM, speaking of crappy boards -and where the same loony post was also posted).

Possibly. He's certainly a few steps beyond the usual conspiracy obsessive...but he also seems to have reached a more passive stage in life (he's in his 70's irrc).

Conspiracy Obsession Syndrome (or whatever they end up calling it in the next DSM is insidious: it feeds off itself in a circular manner and is, I suspect, one of the most difficult mental illnesses to treat as every person attempting to do so is added to the list of conspirators (or categorized as just one of the "dupes"). Urging sufferers to get help also causes one to be added to the conspiracy. It seems to contain, invariably, a component of paranoia (albeit often of a more generalized sort rather than an assumption that the ill intent is directed at them, personally).
 

That's why I'm glad he has a safety valve where he can vent, and equally glad it isn't in our community. Some old men get mad, get a gun and look out!  I don't know if he'd flip that way, but I also don't want to test it. The path from A to B is short. 
 

Another case-in-point, DFM leading the global warming Denialist bandwagon on Yellow, with GOG and some Whineboard idiot trotting along behind.

Seeing such misinformation is disgusting.  People like that deserve to roast in an overheating world. Mere extinction is too good for them.

How many times did you complain to me about that thread? After scanning the board multiple times trying to find it, I FINALLY found it on page 3!  I deleted the one post you were upset about and thought it was done.  Then you demanded to know why I hadn't deleted another one that you hadn't mentioned earlier.  It was already on page 3 and dropping, so I finally just deleted the whole damned thing rather than have to keep going back to it for something else I may have missed.  I just didn't have time to unpack it all or keep hunting it down.

I told you then that I have some CRITICAL health issues that I am dealing with right now.  I was getting my infusions for autoimmune diseases,  along with a boatload of routine blood tests and setting up & getting 2 MRIs.  After I got the awful results, then I had to get a neurosurgeon lined up to do 2 major surgeries on both my cervical and lumbar spine.  Removing fractured sections of multiple vertebrae in both areas, replacing damaged artificial discs, and ligaments to release my severely compressed spinal cord that is threatening me with permanent paralysis.  Then using bone grafts to fuse and stabilize them with wire structures to secure the bone grafts.  It's very serious and life threatening as well as outrageously painful, to the point that I have no patience for much of what happens on the boards.   I FINALLY got an appointment with the surgeon I need today.

So, pardon me if that's MORE important to me than complaints about a thread that was already well past its expiration date on page 3 and no longer even being discussed.  There were already several other threads about the SAME topic that weren't being complained about, so I just removed the entire thing so I wouldn't get another complaint about it.  Yet, here we are.

Did I say ANYTHING when you reposted it looking for additional responses?  NO.  So, what IS the problem?  Did you expect me to keep hunting down an old thread that no one was even responding to anymore?  You seemed to want EVERY response removed so I thought why bother keeping any of it?

When you asked me, I told you that the TOPIC was fine.  I didn't delete it for that reason.  I was just sick of complaints about it (along with so many other things happening right now)when I'm so busy with actually important things involving my health and future. 
 

Sia, I'm sorry to hear of your health issues.  If I was religious, I would pray for you.  I will try to send you some well wishes and positive vibes instead.

Note to everyone else:  greenman is the only poster on this forum who I complained about in the past two years.  I only wanted the attacks be greenman removed.  The rest of you are good, honest, interesting, intelligent posters.

I plan to try to tone down my posting in coming months, making fewer antagonistic posts and expressing less concern over other boards.  You shouldn’t have to worry or upset yourself about such things, given your health situation.

Having been through a similar time a few years ago, I hope everything goes well and you come out the other side feeling much better. Think positively.
